I was born in Nassau, Bahamas to Haitian immigrant parents. After the death of my mother, I arrived in South Florida at a very young age as an undocumented immigrant via a substandard watercraft. I became a legal resident in 1994 and have resided in Orange County since 2003. I have always been strongly involved in our community as an educator, business owner, youth mentor, advocate and real estate agent, and an active member of New Covenant Baptist Church.

As a longtime community servant, I am passionate about a number of issues impacting our community to include immigration, business development, sustainable housing, youth and young adults, and increased access for persons with disabilities. As a candidate for Orange County Commissioner for District 6, I pledge to give voice to the voiceless, work with and not above our citizens, and continue “Pushing for Progress” for the residents of District 6 and the Orange County community.
